English for people who build software

Speak up in English at work.

Practice job interviews, standups, sprint planning, retros and client calls out loud. Read the brief, join the call, say your part, then get notes on what you could have said better.

A daily standup written out like a script: each line under the speaker's role, the scrum master asking Alex for an update
How it works

It runs like a real meeting, prep and follow-up included.

Pick an interview round or a meeting, then your role. The names change every session. The roles and the problem on the table stay the same.

01

Read the brief

The agenda, the sprint board, who's on the call, your goal and some useful phrases.

The brief for a standup: the people on the call by role, the agenda and the context
02

Join and talk

By voice, hands-free. The scrum master calls on you, the PM pushes for a date, the backend dev disagrees with your fix.

The meeting in progress
03

Get your notes

Your own sentences, struck through in red, next to how a fluent colleague would say them.

Notes after the meeting: a verdict, a summary and corrected sentences in red
Why it works

Practice the conversations you actually have at work.

Built around meetings

No flashcards or grammar drills. You give a status update, defend an estimate, answer "tell me about a conflict".

New faces, same roles

The people change every session, so you prep for the role, not the person. The PM wants a date. The interviewer wants numbers.

Notes on your own sentences

No scores. The 3–5 sentences that need it most, rewritten, plus one thing to work on next time.

I think I need two more day for the confirmation screen because of this bug

I need two more days for the confirmation screen because of this bug, so it'll be ready on Monday.

Plural noun, and a date makes the impact clear.

yesterday I finish the split screen and the friend picker

Yesterday I finished the split screen and the friend picker.

Past tense for finished work.

Questions

Common questions.

Are the other people real?

No. Your colleagues and interviewers are AI voices, each in a role. It feels like a real meeting, but no one is on the other end.

What level of English do I need?

Enough to hold a conversation, even a slow one. No one stops you to fix your English. Corrections come in your notes afterward.

What happens to what I say?

Your voice is turned into text to run the meeting, and the text is used once more to write your notes. Both pass through our AI providers (OpenAI and Anthropic) to do that. We don't keep recordings or transcripts on our server, and your notes stay on your phone.

Which phones?

iPhone from the App Store and Android from Google Play.

How do I cancel?

In your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, any time. You keep access until the end of the month you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
