Delete your Offmute account
You can delete your account and its data at any time, in the app or by email.
In the app
- Open and sign in.
- On Home, tap the "Signed in as …" line at the bottom to open Account.
- Tap Delete account, then Delete to confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and the app goes back to the sign-in screen.
By email
If you can't use the app, email from the address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We delete the account within 30 days and reply when it's done.
What is deleted
- Your email address and sign-in.
- The record of each session (when it ran, how long, what it cost us).
- Your subscription status on our server, and your customer record at RevenueCat, our purchase checker.
- Any problem reports you sent from the app.
- The notes, meetings and settings on your phone, when you delete from the app.
What is kept
- Technical server logs, which never contain what you said, until our hosting provider deletes them on its own schedule.
- Purchase records held by Apple or Google under their own policies.
- Interview questions kept to improve our question bank, and the record of each job description read. They name no company or person, are not linked to your account and hold no text of your job description, so they can't be traced back to you (see Privacy).
Delete some data, keep your account
Email from the address you sign in with and say what to delete: your session records, your problem reports, or both. We delete them within 30 days and reply when it's done. Your account, your remaining free sessions and your subscription stay as they are. Notes on your phone are never on our servers: signing out deletes them from the phone.
Your subscription
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings, at least 24 hours before it renews.
